No blog posts since October.
Unanswered questions in support center.
Spam-filled support center.
Web app that CRAWLS.
Is Simplenote going away?

When announced it was closing up shop, I landed at Simplenote. I started using it for new notes right away, but I continued to look for an easy way to import my notes to another cloud-based note app. Yesterday, I gave up and did a manual copy-and-paste on all of my notes to get them into Simplenote. Now I'm experiencing performance issues I wasn't experiencing before. I'm hoping this is a temporary thing, but based on posts I'm reading here in the "support center," it looks like this has been going on for a while now. Please don't tell me that I am going to have to migrate all my notes to another tool.

Not sure about this myself, their Mac app was last updated on December 10, 2013...that's not too long ago, but support not showing up here is not a good sign...

Same old problem with 'everything is free' services... They launch with great service, keep going for a while, attract users and then die because they fail to come up with a way to keep business sustainable.
I'd gladly pay some money for a good service knowing that this would create a financially healthy situation for it.

I feel the same way. I think Simplenote is great, just moved over from Evernote and it totally fits my requirements. I´d love to see you guys being around for some time. Please find a way to take my money.

+ No information into to your process doesn´t build trust, and I need to trust the system I´m using day in and day out to manage my information. It doesn´t help that there are almost no answers to any questions in this support system and articles like this one can stay up:
